Help us build the best listing for your boat and Current Yachts will promote it across key market places like Yachtworld and Yachtr.com, as well as on social media and via other targeted initiatives (outdoors, direct mail, partnerships)
Receive guidance on preparing and pricing your boat, negotiating offers and terms until closing
Get full transparency on the performance of your listing, feedback on every showing, and access to an entire team to answer your questions along the way
Pay a reasonable selling expense and the documented travel expenses associated with the survey of your boat - that's it!
Pricing Model
With Current Yachts, pay only for the listing services you choose, and a sensible Selling Expense, saving you 40% to 70% or more compared to a typical commission-based sale.
When co-brokerage is activated with Current Yachts, the buyer-side commission expense will only be incurred if an outside broker brings the buyer. This typically occurs in 50-60% of transactions opened for co-brokerage. Learn more about co-brokerage.
Listing Services
The Listing Preparation and Promotion fee is the only required expense due at the time a seller signs their listing agreement with Current Yachts. Additional services are available for professional photography and/or video. While these Listing Services are invoiced upfront, they ensure a top-quality listing with professional photos and videos if chosen, and you will retain ownership of these digital media assets.
1) Listing Preparation and Promotion
This service ensures accuracy and quality in the boat description, equipment and basic photos, and includes:
copywriting and editing (vessel description, equipment checklist, and upgrades)
photo editing/resizing for seller-supplied images
data entry into CY website and external marketplaces
promotion on YachtWorld & YachtR
2) Professional Photo and Video
In the traditional commission-based brokerage, you agree to a commission before knowing what amount of effort the broker will put into representing your boat. Which means many boat sellers end up hiring someone else at their expense to produce quality photography or drone footage for their boat – on top of paying a 10% commission!
When you list with Current Yachts, you choose the photo and/or video services you will pay for upfront and we take it from there. Current Yachts will:
hire a professional photographer/videographer who has experience shooting on boats
handle all the logistics and communicating with you to ensure the vessel is photo-ready
oversee the production on the day of the photo/video shoot, then collect the media to upload it to your listing
