A terrific skipper, and an incredible teacher
I have had the pleasure of sailing with Jayne on numerous occasions including long-distance racing, and her passion and skills are evident before you step on a boat with her. She skippered for me as a captain of day charters on the Chesapeake Bay on my Beneteau 45, and I crewed for her on a Lagoon 46 catamaran delivery out of the Port of Baltimore to Solomons. I have witnessed the great care she takes in teaching new yacht owners and helps them not only get familiar with a new boat's systems and handling, but also coaches them in communicating better and working as a team. Cannot recommend Jayne Durden enough!
