Island Mike

Captain Island Mike offers private sailing charters, sailing instruction, and yacht delivery services out of Norwalk, Connecticut.

Captain Mike has sailed Long Island Sound for nearly 30 years and spent more than 20 of those years as a private island caretaker off the Norwalk coast. His captain's license is endorsed by the US Coast Guard, and his business covers three services: private charters, private sailing instruction, and multi-day yacht deliveries. Charters run aboard the Eagle, a 52-foot custom-built ketch that carries up to six guests. Three formats are available: a 4-hour daytime sail from 10 am to 2 pm, a sunset sail from 4 pm to 8 pm, and an all-day sail with flexible timing, offered seven days a week by appointment.

All-day charters explore the Gold Coast and its inlets along Long Island Sound. Outside of charters, Captain Mike offers private sailing lessons and works as a delivery captain for both power boats and sailboats.
