Andrew Charlier is a Partner in the Shipping team and heads up HFW’s Monaco office. He is an experienced transactional lawyer specialising in yachts and superyachts, business aviation and general business and finance. He is a qualified English solicitor.

Andrew is the head of our market-leading global yacht team and he has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of the yachting industry, including the purchase and sale, construction, financing, chartering and registration of large yachts. His expertise also covers business aviation transactions namely negotiation and documentation of sales, purchases, finance and leasing, management, regulatory issues, corporate structuring and registration.

Andrew works closely with other members of HFW’s Jets and Helicopters team, providing market-leading advice across jets, helicopters and general business aviation in financing, sale and purchase, leasing, regulation, insurance, contingency planning, emergency response and dispute resolution.
