As counsel in the Taxation & Wealth Planning Department, Alexander represents businesses, nonprofits and individuals in federal, state and local tax controversies.
She advises clients on IRS audits and litigation before the Arizona Tax Court, U.S. Tax Court and Federal District Court. Her experience includes private letter ruling requests, offshore foreign bank account reporting, innocent/injured spouse relief, captive insurance disputes and state/local tax apportionment issues, among others.
Giselle Alexander is also an Arizona CPA and a former president of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy. She is certified as a Tax Law Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona.
