Even Keeled Marine
About
With more than 30 years of hands-on boating experience, this marine surveyor brings a practical understanding of vessel construction, maintenance, and operation. His interest in boats began at an early age while helping restore classic wooden vessels, and that passion has continued through decades of boat ownership and active involvement in the boating community.
A life member, past Commodore, and current board member of a working marina club on the Hudson River, he has extensive experience with marina operations, dock construction, marine utilities, and vessel maintenance. His background includes rebuilding engines, installing propulsion systems, performing fiberglass repairs, maintaining electrical systems, and overseeing a wide range of marine infrastructure projects.
In addition to vessel maintenance and repair work, he has operated specialized marine equipment, including pile drivers, work boats, push boats, cranes, and other heavy machinery used in waterfront construction and marina operations. This combination of technical knowledge and real-world experience provides valuable insight when evaluating vessel condition, systems, and overall seaworthiness.
His surveying services are supported by decades of practical marine experience, allowing him to provide thorough, objective assessments for boat owners, buyers, and insurers.
